Things have been very stressful on the homefront. I left my job at the food place, even though I didn't have a new job lined up yet. I went two or three weeks without work, but got into the Environmental Health & Safety department at my college (doing office work, mainly). I love it here, but my first check doesn't come until August. That's multiple skipped bills (May, June, July), which has already lead to the closing of one credit account (and I'm only 19!), babysitting, money-borrowing, and the decision to start up my Mary Kay business again. If anybody out there is interested, leave a message at lavieboheme0587@yahoo.com
Southern ended in May and it's passing brought honest-to-god tears (for myself and a couple friends). I tried out Corona, and liked it, but it was a little small for my taste. Coming up: San Diego, Big Bear, and Texas. (Well, hopefully Texas - if I can't get my hands on some money before my August check for bills and such, I may be too in debt. If I have to cancel that trip for the second year in a row... *incoherant mumbling*)
I met a lot of people this year, and reinforced growing friendships with some others. Important Rennies of the Year, as of June 2007: Marjhani, Hamzah; El Serpiente; Chastity; Kevin, of Commedia; Pete from Foundry; Jade from the henna booth at Corona; Ishmael of Oojahm; Scarlett Harlot; Tim, Dennis, and Jerry, the Spaniards; El Diablo, the Crimson Pirate (another Spaniard); Shelby, of Sound & Fury; Patricia, a member of a goth group I was a part of for a very short time; Daphne, a washer woman; Alex; Jenn; Mel... If I forgot you, my apologies. There were just so many people this year.
